CryptoPunks Origins is a full-length documentary film that chronicles the life and evolution of the CryptoPunks project from its inception as a niche experimental cult-project to its global explosion as the flagship of the digital art movement.
The Story
Indie filmmaker Sherone Rabinovitz has been working on this CryptoPunks film since March 2018, starting with an interview with the collection's founders, Matt Hall and John Watkinson. The documentary captures the early days of CryptoPunks and the community that formed around it.
